Preschool of the Arts is proud to have a strong community composed of families from both our preschool and local communities. Parents, children, teachers, and administrators involved with our school programs form positive, trusting relationships based on respect, kindness, and friendship. Preschool of the Arts and its families host many gatherings throughout the year to foster this sense of community, including festive holiday celebrations, informative parent workshops, and interactive Shabbat meals and services at both our facility and premier locations throughout New York City.
The Parent Link is a venture started by parents for parents. As the umbrella organization for parent participation in the school, the Parent Link encourages all parents to become involved and lend their talents, skills, and time to the school. The goal of the Parent Link is to foster a sense of community, create opportunities for social interaction and serve as a link between parents and the school administration.
The Parent Link Co-chair and the school administration work hand in hand to offer support to parents and enrich each family's journey at Preschool of the Arts. The Parent Link facilitates various family events and projects through out the year, including concerts, carnivals and charity projects.
