Dear Prospective Families,
The selection of a preschool, your child's introduction to formal education, is an important and sometimes difficult decision. Preschool of the Arts aims to provide an admissions process that facilitates thoughtful and purposeful exploration of our early childhood center. Each step of the process is designed for your family to become better acquainted with our program. Additionally, this process allows ample opportunities for the Preschool of the Arts team to get to know you and your child. We look forward to meeting you and learning about your family's interests, values and attitudes. We are grateful for your interest in our preschool. Admissions Process

1. An Application for Admission, accompanied by a non-refundable $50 fee must be submitted. To request an application/information package, please complete the form below or call our office at 212-229-9075. Applications are considered on a first come first serve basis.

2. All prospective parents must attend an Open House and/or a morning School Tour. Please click here for a PDF schedule of upcoming Open House events and School Tours.

3. After we have received your child's application and you have attended a School Tour, our admissions office will contact you to schedule a parent interview/child play date.

4. Families are notified in writing of admission status. Response letters are mailed beginning January 2011 and will continue in accordance with our rolling admissions policy.
